Den amerikanska tidskriften Wine Enthusiast har offentliggjort sina nomineringar för kommande upplaga av sina eftertraktade Wine Star Awards (årligen utdelas de för att fira internationell excellens i vinvärlden och jämförbart som filmbranschens Oscar), skriver Enjoywine.se.
Bland kategorierna finns: Årets Vingård, Årets Vinmakare, Årets Vinodlingsområde, Årets Importör. Men den mest prestigefyllda nomineringen är nog ändå Årets Personlighet för den särskilda ”Lifetime Achievement Wine Star Award” som tillskrivs en exceptionell person varje år som har gjort stor historisk påverkan inom vinindustrin, vilken Marilisa Allegrini har nominerats till. Hon är den den enda kvinnliga kandidaten och den enda från Italien att konkurrera om denna prestigefyllda utmärkelse.
